How I Update the Numbers on This Site
The homepage strip is a scoreboard, not a marketing graphic. Here's how it gets edited.
Four numbers sit under the hero: videos posted, products reviewed, earned to date, days in. They start at zero because that’s where I am. When they move, I type the new figure into the site by hand and ship it. No live Amazon API. No screenshot from a dashboard I cropped.
What each number means
Videos posted is videos Amazon has accepted onto product pages, not clips sitting on my phone. Products reviewed is reviews published here with an exact model name. Earned to date is what Amazon (and any later channel) has actually paid, not “pending” that might reverse. Days in is calendar days since this site went live with the experiment, August 24, 2026.
If a month is quiet, the zeros stay. That is the point of running it in public.
What I will not do
I will not round $47 up to “$50+” to make the strip look nicer. I will not count a video I filmed but did not upload. I will not reset days in after a redesign.
The playbook is only as good as the scoreboard. If you catch a number that doesn’t match a post, email steve@megamentum.com and I’ll fix it.
